Training Opportunities

CEUs will be granted to Yoga Teachers for the following programs.  However, the workshops are open to anyone interested unless otherwise noted.

  • Adapting Yoga for Injuries & Conditions (for Yoga Teachers Only) – May 5 & 6, 2018 (Early Bird Registration by 4/5)
  • Ayurveda & Yoga – May 19 & 20, 2018 (Early Bird Registration by 4/19)

Loudoun Valley Yoga is more than a yoga studio. It is a community gathering place where everyone is welcome. Work-outs for all levels of fitness without the super heated environment favored by some studios.     Just a quick note to express my gratitude to Alex for teaching such a balanced Hatha class this past Wednedsay! It was just what the doctor ordered and really helped relax my back that had been giving me trouble lately. Thank you Alex for being such a thoughtful teacher! I’ll be back! 🙂

    Just couldn’t stay quiet after taking a really good class with Jessi today….. Before she got started she asked about everybody’s physical issues and then adjusted the class accordingly. Thank you Jessi for being such a thoughtful teacher!

    I have been with Loudoun Valley Yoga for a little over a year and it has been an amazing experience. Every class and every instructor is wonderfully different which makes all the classes so fun. I love Alexandra’s Hatha on Wednesday morning. It’s always different- yet one thing remains the same you walk away feeling absolutely wonderful. Her Yoga Tone on Thursday evenings is also awesome. It combines yoga and barr to create a nice toning and strengthening workout.

    The best part of this studio is that you can attend any class with any instructor and feel welcomed and benefit from their knowledge and love of yoga.

    I have been so impressed that I convinced my husband to try Yoga for Men with Tim on Thursday and he Is loved it 🙂

    Hi. I am 68 and wonder if there is a beginner class for me that you can recommend. Please let me know when you can.

    • Patricia – I would recommend starting with a Gentle Class (Class times are: Mon & Wed at 11 am, Wed at 530 pm, or Sat at 1045). We can then discuss other class options. Our intent is to have all classes accessible to all levels. However, the Gentle Classes just move at a much slower pace allowing you to perhaps get a little more comfortable. Please feel free to call me any time if you’d like to discuss. Otherwise, come in to the studio and give it a try. It can really improve your life.
