What should I bring with me to class?
A mat and bottle of water. If you don’t have a mat – you can borrow one of ours. We also have bottled water for sale at the front desk.
What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. You might want to dress in layers to keep your body comfortable at all times.
What is the temperature of the room?
We keep our studio between 73 – 75 degrees.
What if I’m stiff or out of shape?
Join the Club! So were we when we took our first class. Don’t worry about it. Accept where you are, and just get started. The hardest part is getting onto your mat for the first time. Beginners are welcome in any of our classes and we will give you modifications to support you. You don’t have to be super bendy to do this practice and we will help you build strength and flexibility at a pace that suits you!
What time should I arrive for class?
For your first visit, please arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you ample time to register at the front desk, fill out a new- student waiver, and become better acquainted with our teachers, staff, and our studio. It’s always a good idea to arrive early for class so that you can sign in, say hi to your friends, and get settled on your mat and be ready to roll!
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! Feel free to send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our owner will give you a call to set it up. Private lessons are a great way to get specific questions answered, work with an injury, or learn about our practice. Please also remember that our teachers are always available to answer questions after class.
